Guys FFS! I’d like to point out that this is the second time the party falls for this silly trap. Rule of thumb – when a DM takes more than a single sentence describing plants/vegetation etc.: It will come alive and you must set in on fire ASAP!
It is just like if you’re asked “do you detect traps?” If the answer is “no”, then you deserve to fall into that pit with the gelatinous cube.


About fire and fireballs, many of you are probably wearing leather which doesn’t burn as easy. Leather caps, vests, pants and so on.
